In a bizarre collaboration that breaks traditional expectations, Ubisoft has announced an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Mission Revealed
According to the official announcement, "An unusual confrontation draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where whispers of prohibited practices and terrifying changes reverberate through the obscurity." The narrative presents a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who charges the pair with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a hidden sect.
The mission concentrates on "bizarre trials and a terrifying adversary" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Iconic Locations and Changes
The teaser highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview concludes with a striking moment showing a character, likely the hostage, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Prizes and Extra Features
Players who accomplish the adventure will acquire an special katana alongside several artifacts hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
